Personal Biography:
Damion Clarke Jr. is a first generation Panamanian American who was raised in a military family. He was introduced to all forms of music and fashion at an early age being heavily influenced by his Mother and the music she listened to. Music heavily impacted Damion and became his outlet and form of therapy that allowed him to express himself. He is better known as Black Joker and his name came from him seeing himself as a black sheep within his family and his unique way of thinking and expression. He felt that he can relate to the fictional character the Joker and the chaos that followed him which was highly compared to his own life which he learned to embrace.
Damion has a strong passion for changing the judicial system and fighting for what he feels is right. He also advocates for mental health which was inspired by his own struggles within. He strongly believes that education and therapy is highly needed for children and families in the inner cities. Damion wants to be a voice to help others to find an outlet that works for them that is uplifting versus harmful and teach them that is normal and ok to go through things in life and getting help doesn't make you weak and in fact it makes you strong.
